I live in Maryland

Maryland Mensa hosts a number of events specifically for gifted youth open to:

  • Young Mensans. Gifted youth that have qualified for membership in Mensa;
  • Gifted Children / Grandchildren. If you are a member of Mensa and have a gifted child / grandchild, they are welcome to participate!
  • Parents. We have a monthly meet-up for Mensa parents of gifted youth, and all parents of Young Mensans. It’s the community you have been looking for!
  • Homeschoolers. We also have a monthly meet-up for parents that homeschool their gifted youth, to provide connections and camaraderie!

I live outside Maryland

Good news! You do not need to live in Maryland to participate in many of our programs!

  • If you live within driving distance, your gifted child may join the in-person Curiosity Club if they are a Young Mensan, or have a parent / grandparent that is a member!
  • If you do not live within driving distance, your gifted child may join our virtual IQ Odyssey sessions if they are a Young Mensan, or have a parent / grandparent that is a member!
  • We also have virtual meet-ups for homeschooling parents and parents of gifted youth open to parents of Young Mensans, or parents of gifted youth that are members of Mensa, even if their children are not members.
