BRAINSTORMING SIG
This is a virtual SIG, meeting on Zoom. It is intended to serve as a place where people can brainstorm ways to improve our organization, help newcomers find out what our group does, and provide experienced people with advice if they need it.
In the course of human events, people may think that our organization should do things a bit differently, or might want to do things that have never been done before. This SIG exists so that we can at least talk about it. Some people might have an idea for a service or project our group of merry men and women might want to explore or investigate
In addition to brainstorming more ideas, new people might need a place to go to find out what an RG is, what the difference is between an RG and an AG, or what is going on in their neck of the woods. Even more experienced people might want a place to go to review available activities, see if there are any available virtual events, how to navigate Mensa Connect, or how to contact the National Office. Some people might want to discuss Mensa with fellow Mensans.
The main purposes of the SIG involve:

  • An opportunity to brainstorm ways we do things
  • To provide a resource to help people navigate the ways of our operation
  • To provide a place where people can talk to other members of our family
