Events in Western Maryland Area:

Greetings from the mountain beyond Frederick! Who else would like to see more events out here? Maybe you live here, or in a neighboring state, or elsewhere and you’d like to visit here sometimes to hike or catch a concert or museum. Our only regular event here is the monthly 2nd Thursday pizza gathering just west of Frederick (Maryland Mensa’s longest running event at same location)–by the way, in case you haven’t noticed in that newsletter listing, we usually start early and play board/card games. Let’s plan some more events! Or you’re always welcome to put what you’d like to see in the calendar yourself.

Please contact me to brainstorm ideas and gauge interest; we can talk individually or I can schedule us a Zoom at compatible time. My ideas: hikes, camping trips, games, jigsaw puzzles, potlucks, teas, labyrinths, change ringing, concerts/shows, museums, etc. Yes, please contact me even if you just want to weigh in on these and other ideas.
